Draft Day 2009: Sanchez discusses having the personality to play in New York
"I feel, you know, a lot of people have said that and that’s great because, I’m an exciteable young man and I’m ready for a challenge and like they said I’m always smiling. I’m a team guy first so it’s going be a great challenge, but with those guys around me and with that offensive line and a great defense that Coach Ryan is putting together, a solid running game, its going to be a blast. That kind of pressure, you expect that as a quarterback, it’s what you signed up for and, you know, I learned how to compete and deal with pressure at USC, so I just need to be bigger and better. So it’s a very exciting, very special time in my life. I’m excited to get things going and like I said, just get back to New York and start practicing."
