Vernon Gholston Collegiate Highlights

Despite declaring for the NFL draft following his junior season, Vernon Gholston was record-setting pass rusher for the Ohio State Buckeyes. During the 2007 season Gholston recorded 37 tackles - 15 1/2 for a loss - and set a school record with 14 sacks in 13 games. Gholston's sack record broke the former record of 13 sacks in a single season set by Mike Vrabel in 1995. Two key 2007 performances for Gholston included four sacks in a win against Wisconsin and three key sacks against Michigan that helped the Buckeyes to secure their fourth straight win over Michigan.
