Ray Rice was selected to the All-BIG EAST First Team and finished
second in the nation with 1,794 yards rushing. Rice also established BIG
EAST single-season record with 1,794 rushing yards. The Rutgers
running back scored 20 touchdowns and finished fifth in the nation in
scoring (9.23 ppg).

all-time leading rusher at Rutgers with
4,926 yards and 49 touchdowns on 910
carries. Although Rice has a short 5-9
frame, he more than proved his mettle
at Rutgers.

rookie campaign by gaining more than
600 yards in total offense. Besides
running the ball well, Rice is also a
force catching the ball out of the
backfield.
