Rashard Mendenhall took the college football world by storm with a breakout season his junior campaign. While winning 2007 Big 10 Player of the Year honors, Mendenhall helped lead the Fighting Illini to the Rose Bowl with stunning stats that included 1,681 yards rushing while adding another 318 yards receiving. While wearing the No. 5 jersey for the Fighting Illini, Mendenhall also sparked Illinois' scoring with 19 TD's.
