Besides being a football star at Landstown High School
in Virginia Beach, VA, Percy Harvin earned accolades by
winning five gold medals at the state finals in 2005: long
jump, triple jump, 100 meters, 200 meters and 400-meter
relay.
Blessed with 4-3/40 speed, Harvin was ranked number
one overall by Rivals and Scout had him rated as the No.
2 receiver. While many colleges had Harvin on their wish
list, the Virginia prep star ultimately decided that the Percy
Harvin jersey would be a Florida Gators jersey.
