Since being selected with the 39th pick of
the 2010 NBA Draft, this rookie has been the
surprise of the Draft Class. When
preseason camp began, Fields was fourth
on the team's shooting guard depth chart.
However tremendous consistency and the
ability to be a force in many facets of the
game prompted the Knicks coaching staff to
include the former Stanford Cardinal in their
starting lineup. The shooting guard is a
double-double threat every night and in a
November 2010 game against Denver,
Fields scored 21 points, snagged 17
rebounds and recorded two steals.
