As a NY Giants rookie, the former UNC wide
receiver made quite an impact on the team's
offense by catching 47 passes for 790 yards
and six TD's. Nicks flashed his ability to
stretch defenses by averaging 16.8 yards per
reception. Nicks was also able to break the
century mark twice with 100+ receiving yard
efforts against the eventual Super Bowl
champion New Orleans Saints and the
Philadelphia Eagles. As this explosive wide
receiver continues to emerge, Giants fans
are expecting big results.
