have been led by head coach Danny
Hall who arrived in 1994. Hall is the
program's most winningest coach.

Russ Chandler Stadium that has a
capacity of 4,157.
The first season for Georgia Tech
baseball took place in 1900.
John Heisman (the namesake of
the Heisman Trophy), was Georgia
Tech's baseball coach from 1904 to
1917.

Georgia Tech Football Facts

Georgia Tech first played football in 1892.
The Yellow Jackets play at Bobby Dodd Stadium at historic Grant Field. Georgia
Tech has played at that location since 1905 and it is one of college football's
oldest venues. The stadium is name after former Tech head coach and athletic
director Bobby Dodd. The legendary figure coached the Ramblin' Wreck from
1945 to 1966 and engineered a national championship for the school in 1952.
Dodd coached 165 victories including a school-record 31 straight wins in the
early 1950s.
The legendary John Heisman served as the Tech football coach for 16 seasons
and one of his 104 victories was the 222-0 annihilation of Cumberland. Heisman
also directed Georgia Tech first national championship season in 1917.
