The following FSU football legends have had their jersey numbers retired.
6/28/10 Update: FSU officials have announced that Derrick Brooks' jersey will be retired in a
Nov. 13, 2010 ceremony during the Clemson game.

Deion Sanders
|
Sanders was a three-sport athlete for FSU and wound up starring in the NFL and
MLB. As a Seminole, Sanders was a two-time All-America in football

Chris Weinke
|
While at FSU, was a three-year starter and also captured the 2000 Heisman Trophy.
Weinke led Florida State to an undefeated national championship season in 1999
and followed up that champaign by leading the nation in passing yards

Charlie Ward
|
Described as the most decorated player if college football history, Ward guided
Florida State to their first national title in 1993. Ward won numerous awards that
season including FSU's first Heisman Trophy.

Fred Biletnikoff
|
This sure-handed receiver made such an impact on the game that the annual award
for college football's top receiver is named in his honor. Biletnikoff was the
Seminoles first consensus All-American (1964) and later became an NFL Super
Bowl champion with the Raiders and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Warrick Dunn
|
Dunn left Florida State as the school's all-time leading rusher with 3,959 career
yards. After his final season in 1996, Dunn starred with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
and Atlanta Falcons.

Ron Sellers

This FSU wide receiver was a consensus All-American in 1967 and 1968. Sellers.
While wearing his FSU football jersey, Sellers caught 240 passes for 3979 yards
and 28 TD receptions.
