Turner joins the 76ers after a tremendous
career at Ohio State that was culminated
with his being named the Naismith &
Wooden College Basketball Player of the
Year. While a Buckeye, he led Ohio State
in scoring, rebounding and assists and
was a double-double threat every game.
Displaying his big game potential, Turner
dropped 32 points and grabbed 9
rebounds in a key January road win over
Purdue. As the former Buckeye prepares
for play at the pro level, Turner has
impressed pundits to the point that they
believe he is NBA ready coming out of
college.
