When Thomas chose the University of Texas over
Texas A&M as his collegiate choice, it shouldn't have
come as a surprise.  That's because Thomas was an
All-State selection and three year starter as a DB, WR
and RB for West Orange Stark High School in Orange
Texas.  Had the high school star rated as the 19th
best player in the state of Texas by Rivals been from
Maroon, Texas his choice may have been different.
