Oklahoma State Wide Receiver
Career stats: 147 receptions for 2,425 yards and 29 TD's
Top season: The Oklahoma State star had a breakout campaign his
sophomore season when he generated the following stats:
2008 Stats: 87 receptions for 1,480 yards and 19 TD's.  Bryant also returned
two punts for touchdowns.
Ruled ineligible in 2009: After starting off the year strong with 323 yards
and 5 total TD's through the first three weeks of the season, Bryant was
banished to the sidelines for the rest of the season by the NCAA on October 7
for violating an NCAA bylaw. He failed to fully disclose his interaction with
Deion Sanders, a former NFL player, to the NCAA.
NFL Bound: Following the 2009 season, Bryant declared for the NFL Draft.
Top Collegiate Awards: First Team All-American in 2008 after being
selected by the Associated Press, AFCA-Coaches and many other top
organizations.  The Oklahoma State WR also was also named the 2008 Wide
Receiver Trophy Recipient by the College Football Performance Awards.
Dez Bryant High School Career and
College Recruitment
High School: Bryant starred for Lufkin High School in Texas.  As a senior
he caught 53 passes for 1,207 yards and 21 TD's.  His efforts helped him to
be named to the Texas Football Super Team first-team while also earning
All-state selection honors.
College Recruitment: Bryant selected Oklahoma state as his collegiate
choice although LSU, Arkansas and Nebraska were in the recruiting mix.  
Rivals had him listed as a 4-star recruit and a number 9 national ranking
among the 2007 high school class.
