Derrick Harvey Collegiate Highlights

While wearing Florida Jersey No. 91, Derrick Harvey was one of college football's top lineman in 2007. Harvey collected 49 tackles (17.5 for loss) and 8.5 sacks. In his first year of starting in 2006, Harvey amassed 11 sacks. Harvey stepped away from the Gator program after his junior season for the NFL Draft.

Derrick Harvey High School Highlights

Harvey was an All-America selection by Tom Lemming, EA Sports, Riddell and Super Prep, adding second-team All-USA honors from USA Today as a senior at Roosevelt High School. As a senior, he recorded over 150 tackles and 31 sacks, a Maryland state record, as well as five forced fumbles, two recovered fumbles and five batted down passes. He led his team to a 12-1 record and the 4A State Semi-finals, where they suffered Harvey selected Florida as his collegiate selection as the school won a heated recruiting battle over Ohio State, Maryland and Tennessee.
