Steve Fuller QB
|
Fuller played for the University from 1975-78 and started 27 consecutive games. Fuller earned ACC Player of the Year honors in 1977 and 1978 and was a third-team All-American his senior season. The former CU signal caller was named to the school's Centennial Football Team in 1996 and joined the school's Ring of Honor in 1994. Fuller was the overall 23rd selection of the 1979 NFL Draft when the Kansas City Chiefs selected him in the first round. Fuller played 8 years in the NFL.

CJ Spiller RB
|
Spiller starred for CU from 2006 to 2009 and earned Consensus All-American honors in 2009 before being drafted by the Buffalo Bills with the overall No. 9 pick by the Buffalo Bills in the 2010 NFL Draft. In four seasons, Spiller rushed for 3,480 yards and 32 TD's. He also had 120 receptions for a total of 11 more scores and generated 8 TD's on kick returns.

Banks McFadden RB
|
McFadden starred for both the school's football, track and basketball teams and was named the nation's most versatile athlete for 1939-40. On the grid iron, he excelled as a runner, passer and punter. Banks McFadden was ranked as the University's No. 1 football player of all-time by a group of Clemson hisorians in 1999. McFadden was the number-four pick of the Brooklyn Dodgers (football) after the 1939 season and played one year in the NFL and led the league in yards per rush
