What the NFL scouts are saying about Chad Henne
|
Excerpt from ProFootball Weekly.com
Michigan’s Chad Henne has the physical tools to make you want to like him. He’s a big, strong dropback passer with the ability to make all the throws. However, his limited mobility makes it difficult to improvise, and he struggles if his feet are not set and his shoulders not squared. He does not have a good feel for pressure or possess the quickness to avoid it, and he may never. He also has a tendency to lock his front leg, and it results in many off-the-mark throws. To become more than a backup, he will have to be a masterful surgeon and pick apart defenses, which he has yet to show he can do. He does have great intangibles, however, and could get a team through a game. He could be an ideal backup in the pros.
