  • The Bulldogs entered March Madness as the Horizon Conference Champions
  • In their round one NCAA Tournament game, Butler defeated UTEP 77-59.
  • The Bulldogs defeated Murray State 54-52 in their second round game that saw
    Butler advance to the Sweet 16.
  • The team's next matchup was top seeded Syracuse.  Despite being heavy
    underdogs, Butler moved into the Elite 8 and one step closer to the Final Four with
    a 63-59 victory.
  • #2 seed Kansas State stood in the way of Butler's first Final 4 appearance and the
    Bulldogs defied the odds with a victory that will be celebrated for years to come.
  • Playing in their first Final Four game in the program's history, Butler outlasts
    Michigan State 52-50 to advance to the College Basketball title game.
