Brandon Burlsworth served as a tremendous inspiration during his Arkansas career. Bullsworth went from a walk on at Arkansas to being one of the most celebrated football players in Razorbacks history. The offensive lineman was not only an All-American, but he also became the first Arkansas football player to earn a masters degree before his last football game.. Burlsworth was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 3rd round of the 1999 NFL Draft, but never had a chance to play for the franchise. Burlsworth was killed in an auto accident less than two weeks later. Not only is Burlsworth's No. 77 Razorbacks football jersey retired, but his locker remains intact in the Razorbacks locker room.
