Dalton TCU Career Stats

Dalton was a four-year starter for the Horned Frogs from 2007-2010 and led TCU to two BCS Bowls. While at TCU, he posted a 42-7 record as a starter. In four bowl games, he was the MVP three times.
Individual season stats
2007: Dalton threw 30 passes in his first collegiate game that saw TCU beat Baylor 27-0. The Horned Frogs finished the season with an 8-4 record as Dalton completed 221 of 371 passes (59.8%) for 2459 yards, 10 TD's and 11 Int's. The freshman QB also gained 232 yards rushing and scored five times on 98 attempts.
2008: As a sophomore, Dalton played in 11 of the team's 13 games. Under his direction the team posted a 9-2 record while the Horned Frogs overall record was 11-2. For the season, he completed 182 of 307 passes (59.3%) for 2242 yards, 11 TD's and 5 Int's. Dalton's rushing skills continued to emerge in 2008 as he ran for eight TD's while gaining 432 yards on 113 carries.
2009: With Dalton now a junior, his continued maturation and increased productivity helped to boost TCU to a 12-0 regular season and a (BCS) Fiesta Bowl appearance against Boise State. Although the Frogs came up short (17-10) in that contest, the season included key wins over Virginia, Clemson, Air Force, BYU and Utah. Dalton completed 199 of 323 passes (61.6%) for 2756 yards, 23 TD's and 8 Int's. On the ground, the junior QB rushed 116 times for 512 yards and three scores.
2010: As a senior, Dalton guided the Horned Frogs to an undefeated 14-0 season that culminated with a Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin. The senior QB completed 209 of 316 passes (64.3%) for 2857 yards, 27 TD's and just 6 Int's. On the ground he averaged more that five yards per carry by rushing for 435 yards and six scores on 86 carries. On the way to an undefeated season, Dalton led TCU to crunching wins over BYU (31-3), Air Force (38-7) and Utah (47-7). In his final game, Dalton rushed and passed for a TD as TCU edged Wisconsin 21-19 in the Rose Bowl.
